What I basically need is a means of performing a page refresh of the main page, when this button within the iframe is pressed.

Would appreciate the javascript that I can trigger within the iframe, that will reload the main window holding the iframe.

If the parent's and child iframe domains will be different you will get cross-window security error, in that case you can try to use following:

We can easily achieve the facing goal by set target='_parent' to the Links which inside the iframe.

How do I install Configurator Reloaded?

Installation is quick and easy with a separate installation file. Detailed instructions can be found in a PDF file in the downloaded zip archive.

Which buttons can be added to the panel?

How to add new buttons?
  1. Click on the arrow icon at the bottom of the panel
  2. Choose the desired category
  3. Drag and drop the desired command into a container *

* Tools can only be added to Tools Containers * Brushes can only be added to Brushes Containers

How can containers/buttons be colored?

Right-click on the desired button or on the container name.

How can I change the order of buttons/containers?

How can buttons be locked?

In the panel menu via “Lock buttons”. If this is activated, buttons within a container can no longer be dragged and dropped. This is to prevent accidental changes. With activated “Lock buttons” it is still possible to add new buttons from the SlideIn and to move buttons between different containers.

How can I rename buttons/containers?

With a right click on the container name or on the button.

What are workspaces and how can they be edited (create, rename, delete)?

Workspaces are displayed at the top of the panel in the drop-down list. When the panel is first started, this is the “Essentials” workspace. If a new workspace is created, it is empty and new buttons and containers can be added. Use the drop-down list to switch between workspaces. Workspaces can be created, renamed, or deleted from the control panel menu.

How can tooltips be activated/deactivated?

  • Via the Panel Menu
    • The name of the panels can be changed (on the first call or later in the respective panel menu under “Rename Panel”). The name of the main panel cannot be renamed
    • All settings (appearance, tooltips, etc.) work separately for each panel
How to add your own scripts?

From the panel menu.

Can I export standalone panels?

The export of standalone panels is not possible.

However, it is possible to export workspaces. For the import it is necessary to have Configurator Reloaded.

Perfect for Illustration

When I use Photoshop, I always have a graphics pen in one hand, so I need quick shortcuts available to press with my other hand. Usually this is taken care of with the shortcut buttons on a graphics tablet, but when I had to move to a monitor with no physical shortcut buttons, Configurator Reloaded was a perfect replacement. With all of my most common actions grouped together on-screen, in the same place at all times, it's saving me tons of time.

Nie mehr ohne

Als Hobbyfotograf und -bildbearbeiter habe ich lange überlegt, ob ich mir Configurator Reloaded zulegen soll. Jetzt hab ich's getan und..jetzt frage ich mich, warum ich das nicht schon früher getan habe. Keine Probleme bei der Installation und auch die Einrichtung des Panels ist wirklich easy. Änderungen sind mit wenigen Klicks erledigt. Die wichtigsten Bedienelemente, Aktionen etc. sind schnell zu erreichen und man spart Zeit bei der Bearbeitung. Definitiv empfehlenswert. Danke und weiter so.

Wow Thomas you really made the panel easy to use, I had a complicated project that was made in Confiurator 4 for CS6 and was able to make the menu work in CC v2019. just tweeking some actions that needed to update with the new work flow. 5 stars for That and easy 0- learning curve. with that being said i wish lock buttons feature locked everything down. while i work i accidently move the buttons around or it changes how the buttons are displayed. example. one button group is actually buttons that are numbered to do in order but if the menu is moved or resided the buttons move adjacent to each other making the workflow different. also would like an option to open a webpage. i know i can create a script for this. and you sent me info on it but i just don't have time. Great Job and im so glad you did this plugin..

Amazing panel

One of the best add-ons to Photoshop out there for anyone who uses PS as a professional and needs to be efficient with their time, but doesn't like keyboard shortcuts and/or has tons of actions in their actions panel and hates the mess that creates. Great for people with OCD!

Einfach nur super ..

Hab früher selbst die Panels im Flash-Format gebaut und nach Umstellung auf HTML5/XML bin ich einfach nicht mehr dazu gekommen etwas gescheites auf die Beine zu stellen - zu aufwendig, sagte ich mir. ..und dann kam Configurator Reloaded vorbei. Kurz getestet, angesehen und nach einer halben Stunde gekauft. Jetzt möchte ich das Panel nicht mehr missen. Weiter so Thomas - guter Job.

Saves me so much time!

This is so great.—The ability to have every tool I commonly work with in one place, right next to my layers and adjustments saves me so much time during a full day retouching. I arrange the panel from top to bottom with my work flow. Having buttons that run actions to set up my default layers to the tools I use for detail retouching. Then below all the output tools I need for saving files to different formats and colour profiles. Continue the great work Thomas!

Ich hatte mir bereits viele Aktionen und Abläufe angelegt. Mit dem Panel habe ich nun das perfekte Tool, meinen Workflow zu beschleunigen. Lässt sich einfach und schnell anpassen. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Jeden Cent wert!

Ich hatte mir mit dem Configurator Panels gebaut und diese auch intensiv genutzt. Deshalb habe ich auch bis vor kurzer Zeit noch mit der Photoshop Version CC (ohne Jahreszahl) gearbeitet, weil das die letzte Version war, welche die (Java)Panels unterstützt hat. Mit dem Configurator Reloaded habe ich jetzt auch bei den aktuellen Photoshop Versionen wieder alle Möglichkeiten und das sogar noch mit einen viel einfacheren Handhabung bei der Erstellung der Panels. Als ich gesehen hatte, was der Configurator Reloaded kann, habe ich ihn sofort gekauft, ohne auch nur einen Blick auf die Testversion zu werfen. Ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, wer auf einen schnellen und vereinfachten Photoshop Workflow Wert legt, bekommt mit dem Configurator Reloaded das Tool, welches man dazu braucht.

Möchte nicht mehr ohne Arbeiten

Nachdem ich für ein paar Stunden die Testversion ausprobiert hatte, war mir sehr schnell klar, dass ich ohne dem Configurator Reloaded für PS nicht mehr arbeiten möchte, vor allen Dingen da ich auf einem WACOM Cintiq 27 HD arbeite. Heute habe ich auch den Configurator für Indesign gekauft..

Ich habe längere Zeit überlegt, ob ich mir Configurator Reloaded zulegen soll und ..Gott sei Dank habe ich zugegriffen :-). Kauf und Installation waren problemlos, die Einrichtung des Panels ist wirklich easy und will man etwas ändern, geht das mit wenigen Klicks. Die wichtigsten Bedienelemente, Aktionen etc. sind übersichtlich mit einem Klick erreichbar und unter dem Strich spart man beim Bearbeiten wirklich Zeit. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Configurator Reloaded

Very functional. A real time saver. The shortcuts I've made to my favourite actions, tools, and plugins has had a huge impact on workflow. It's all consolidated, making it unnecessary to continually reorient to various options on the photoshop menubar and move the mouse all over the place to get to a specific, regularly used element. Particularly useful in a dual screen setup, such as mine, where the graphic material is on one screen with all the tools, actions, panels on the other. Getting to one of your favourite options on the 3rd menu on page 4 of panel 2 is no longer a cognitive challenge in itself. You just click on what you want in Thomas's highly customizable panel, and there you go! Certainly a product that I would recommend to anyone who spends time in Photoshop CC.

Sehr nützliches Tool

Wir nutzen das Panel jetzt seit einigen Wochen. Es beschleunigt perfekt den Arbeitsablauf für sich wiederholende Aufgaben. Für jeden Kunden nutzen wir einen eigenen Arbeitsbereich und passende Container, die uns so quasi durch die erforderlichen Schritte führen und nebenbei noch dafür sorgen, dass so schnell kein Schritt vergessen wird. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Great way to organize actions

It's a great way to get rid of a big pile of actions by being able to group them. Some more control to the button size will make this panels even more handy.

Schon lange vermisst!

Ich arbeite schon sehr lange mit Photoshop und hatte bis jetzt den mir wichtigen Funktionen Tastaturkurzbefehle zugeordnet. Das wurde im Laufe der Zeit immer umfangreicher und damit auch unübersichtlicher. Das hat nun mit Configurator Reloaded ein Ende gefunden. Tolles Add-on und nicht mehr wegzudenken. Herzlichen Dank an den cleveren Entwickler!

Ein hervorragendes Werkzeug

Dieses Panel ist sehr gut ausgedacht und umgesetzt. Seit ich es installiert habe, nutze ich es bei jeder Bildbearbeitung. Es ist vielseitig konfigurierbar, und nach einer kurzen Einarbeitungszeit möchte man es nicht mehr missen. Der Support ist schnell und effizient. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Endlich

Nachdem Adobe vor einigen Jahren die Unterstützung für Flash und eben Adobes Configurator aufgegeben hatte, konnte ich das mir liebgewonnene Panel mit neueren Versionen von Photoshop nicht mehr nutzen, jetzt mit Configurator reloaded ist das aber möglich und darüber freue ich mich.

Just Right

As a former Adobe Configurator user, I'd almost forgotten how convenient and efficient it is to be able to build your own panels. Thomas has done a great job in bringing back most of the functionality in a very easy to use and well crafted interface. Highly recommended if you spend much time in Photoshop at all.

Tolles Tool

Ich nutze Photoshop schon seit über 10 Jahren. Irgendwann entdeckte ich den Configurator von Adobe und nutzte Ihn sehr gern, da er meine Arbeit beschleunigte indem ich meine bevorzugten Werkzeuge gleich zur Hand hatte. Nach Photoshop Version 14, Photoshop CC war leider Schluss damit, da Adobe die Programmierung nicht mehr unterstützte. Also blieb ich bei dieser Version, obwohl ich durch mein Photoshop-Abo die Möglichkeit hatte, auch neuere Versionen zu nutzen. Nun endlich habe ich Configurator Reloaded endeckt, der alles noch besser kann, als der alte Configurator. Seit ein paar Tagen nutze ich also die neueste Version von Photoshop, mit meinen eigenen Werkzeugen im Configurator Reloaded. Die 44,90 EUR sind für mich ein sehr angemessener Preis dafür. Danke an den Entwickler!

Just what the doctor ordered

This panel is supremely configurable to suit one's own particular way of working in Photoshop. The ability to drag in custom made actions is very welcome. So recommended !!

Ein super Tool, welches ich allen PS-Nutzern nur empfehlen kann. Endlich hat man die häufigsten Befehle übersichtlich an einer Stelle. Insbesondere der Stiftbenutzer wird dieses Tool schnell schätzen lernen. Noch ein paar kleine Weiterentwicklungen und Anpassungen und es ist perfekt.

This is a well designed and well made Panel. It is excellent for assembling a set of tools which are all associated with a specific type of Photoshop project, say, portrait retouching, or, generating HDR effects. It is really great if any of the steps in that specific workflow are Action-based. Everything required step-by-step can be assembled in a dedicated Panel, all in one place. Very fine (and highly recommended).
